Set on a small 12-acre island, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives, Kuda Huraa is located in the North Male Atoll, just 12 miles from Male International Airport and a 25-minute speedboat ride from the airport. The island itself has an exotic village feel with some fabulous flora in the gardens of the bungalows as you head from one end of the island to the other. The resort has been built by local craftsmen using indigenous materials and techniques that date back centuries, giving the property a true Maldivian feel.
The comfortable and spacious accommodation is situated either on the beach or over the lagoon and is accessed from a central pathway that runs the length of the island. Four Seasons Kuda Huraa has 96 spacious, thatched Maldivian bungalows both on the island and stretching out over the water. The facilities include a tranquil Island Spa on its own private island, a gourmet Indian restaurant and a Kids Club. Local activities include surfing, sport fishing and dolphin watching cruises.
There are a variety of fabulous restaurant options with cuisines ranging from Italian and Indian to International and Asian. The Reef Club, located next to the Water Villa jetty and with superb sea views from its deck, has a wood-fired pizza oven and a fabulous seafood grill, their 4-course Lobster extravaganza on a Wednesday is superb! The activities at Kuda Huraa are excellent and range from the water, with a huge array of water sports, dolphin cruises, big game fishing and diving to more land-based activities such as island picnics, island hopping, jogging and for the serious foodie, cooking lessons at the property's signature Indian restaurant.
The Kids for all Seasons club provides a great base for children to take part in organised activity programmes and with their own separate swimming pool, this secure club is a great fun, play area. With children's menus in the restaurants and in-room dining as well as things like children's toiletries, this resort is one of the top family properties in the Maldives.
